LSB#: 180806WT10
Spanish mauser fabrica de armas coruna 1955. As promised, here are pics of my 1895 dwm chilean mauser serial number 519. 1916 spandau all matching. I recently was left a Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895, by my father who passed away. I know nothing about this gun and was wondering about its history and worth. It's in averge condition. The stock shows considerable wear, lots of small dents and a small crack near the bolt. It has a matching serial number (B7360) on the stock, bolt.

Hello everyone -
About 25 years ago I was given a Chileno Mauser 1895 rifle made by Loewe in Berlin. I like the rifle yet have never done any research into it.
There's nothing special about this one as far as I know. It is in decent condition but sadly the Chilean crest isn't in the best shape. The working parts are in good service order as is the bore; and all the SNs I've seen on it match except one.
What I'm curious about is the SN block number. Is there an online reference guide for these? Anyone know what they indicate? So far the only thing I've found is that those with a 'C' block number were intended for South Africa. The one I have is a 'D' with a 3 digit SN.
